Reading Your Blueprint

How to interpret and share the architecture blueprint with your engineering team.

How to read the blueprint

Component boxes

Each box in the diagram represents a distinct system component: frontend apps, backend services, databases, queues, or external APIs. Arrows show data flow direction.

Color coding

  • Purple — Components you build and own
  • Blue — Third-party services or APIs
  • Green — Data stores

Tech stack table

Below the diagram, a table lists each component with a recommended technology and a brief justification. These are suggestions — your team should validate them against your existing stack and expertise.

Sharing with engineering

Export the blueprint as a PNG or share the Scriptonia PRD link. Engineering leads can leave comments directly on the blueprint.
