Terms of Service

By accessing or using Scriptonia ("the Service") at scriptonia.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.

Scriptonia is an AI-powered workspace for product managers that generates Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), architecture blueprints, and engineering tickets from natural-language input.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time, though we will give reasonable notice for significant changes.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@scriptonia.dev if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing usage limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Plans — Scriptonia offers Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.

AI Credits — Features that consume AI inference are metered in credits. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Additional top-up packs can be purchased and never expire.

Upgrades & Downgrades — Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Cancellations — You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period; we do not offer partial-month refunds.

Refunds — We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Pro or Team subscription charge if you are unsatisfied. Contact billing@scriptonia.dev.

Taxes — Prices are displayed exclusive of VAT/GST where applicable. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing address.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates any third-party rights.

• Attempt to circumvent AI safety guidelines or rate limits.

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract training data from the Service.

• Use the Service for automated, bulk, or resale purposes without an Enterprise agreement.

• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

• Impersonate Scriptonia, its employees, or other users.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Your content — You retain all ownership of the PRDs, blueprints, and other documents you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.

Our content — The Scriptonia name, logo, design system, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.

AI output — Documents generated by the Service are provided for your use. We make no warranty regarding uniqueness or that AI output is free of third-party claims.

Feedback — If you submit feature requests or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the Service.

Our Privacy Policy (scriptonia.dev/privacy) explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as described there.

We do not use your PRD content to train AI models.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Linear, Notion, GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence). Your use of those integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all content before acting on it.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCRIPTONIA AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scriptonia and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You may export your PRDs before account deletion. We delete your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Scriptonia is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, they shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP infringement.
